door by bright round rivets...it tells of
the tagged population, hunching,
sighing, detaching at times—they read
as a tenuous gang of Brownian specks,
yoked both by finite bounds and the tally.
Rip at the seam, do sew the pouch over—
dismal variety, daunting crowd, do
plant it far into the fabric’s nap, do
brace for the boom with this tenuous trap.
